A 34-year-old woman jumped from the first floor of a building in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires in a desperate attempt to escape from her partner, whom she accuses of drugging her with the intention of prostituting her. In her statement to the Police, the woman claimed that she decided to jump from the balcony upon seeing an opportunity to escape from the distressing situation she was experiencing.

The surgeon named in this complaint is Fabián Peláez, 54, recognized in the province of San Juan. Peláez faces serious allegations of human trafficking, in a case being processed at the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 5, under the direction of Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti.

The victim, who survived the fall, was taken to Fernández Hospital to undergo various physical and psychological analyses. According to the victim herself, her relationship with the accused began five years ago. Federal Justice is investigating the veracity of the accusations made by the woman to advance the case.

For his part, Fabián Peláez, owner of Clínica Del Prado in San Juan, is detained at the 14B police station in the city, awaiting interrogation by prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita. A police presence has been ordered at the entrance of the building where the events occurred to facilitate the search of the apartment.

The complainant reported that Peláez kept her in captivity and under the influence of drugs for several years while subjecting her to sexual exploitation. This alarming situation has caused a great shock in the community, and prompt action from the authorities is expected to clarify the facts and ensure justice for the victim. Previously, Peláez was married to Liliam Marí, Queen of the Sun 2007, with whom he had three children.
